Everything contractors ask us about the storm line, ThreeDay Digital and the app. Don't see yours? Call or text (289) 904-1677.
The basics
Do you plow driveways?
No. GTA Plow doesn't plow anything. It's a phone line and texting tool for snow-removal and landscaping contractors. If you need your own driveway cleared, call a local snow-removal company.
Who is GTA Plow for?
Snow-removal contractors, landscapers who plow in winter, and property maintenance companies in the Greater Toronto Area, from one-truck operators to companies running several routes and commercial lots.
What exactly is the storm line?
An AI phone line that answers your calls in your company's name. On a storm day it tells clients their route and the time window you set, takes new requests, puts urgent calls through to your cell, and keeps a record of every call. Your "on our way" and "done" texts go out from the same number.
Can I hear it before I sign up?
Yes. Call the demo line at (365) 650-2063. It answers as Kestrel Snow and Ice, a made-up plow company, on a storm morning. Ask it when the plow is coming, or ask for a driveway that isn't on the list.
GTA Plow and ThreeDay Digital
Who's behind GTA Plow?
ThreeDay Digital, a Mississauga company (BIZIBIZI INC.) that builds AI receptionists for local businesses. GTA Plow is ThreeDay's winter line for snow contractors. More about us.
Is GTA Plow a separate company?
No. GTA Plow is a product of ThreeDay Digital: the same company, the same app and the same team, with a script and a setup made for storm days.
Why a different name from ThreeDay Digital?
Because it's built for one kind of business. ThreeDay's receptionists answer for clinics, trades and service businesses. GTA Plow is the version made for snow contractors, with routes, storm plans and route texts.
What is ThreeDay Digital?
An AI receptionist company. Its app answers calls, books appointments, sends texts and emails, and keeps every conversation in one place. See threedaydigital.com.
Your account and the app
How do I log in?
At app.threedaydigital.com, or in the ThreeDay Digital app on your iPhone. It's the same login on both. We set your account up with you on the setup call.
Is there an app?
Yes: the ThreeDay Digital app on the App Store. On Android or a computer, use app.threedaydigital.com in your browser. It works on a phone screen.
What can I do in the app?
Listen to or read every call, see every new request in one list, change your storm plan before a storm, send "on our way" and "done" texts to a route and read the replies, and change what the line says and does.
Can my office or crew leads use it too?
Yes. Add them as teammates and choose what each one can see.
Do I need a computer?
No. Everything works from your phone.
How it sounds and behaves
Will my clients know it isn't a person?
It answers in your company's name with a natural voice. If anyone asks, it says it's your virtual assistant. It never pretends to be you or a member of your crew.
What if it doesn't know the answer?
It takes a message and sends it to you right away. It only gives the times, prices and promises you have given it, and never makes one up.
What does it do if someone says they fell?
It asks whether anyone needs medical help and tells them to call 911 if so. Then it takes the date, the time, the exact spot and their contact details, marks it urgent for you, and never says whose fault it was or talks about insurance.
What language does it speak?
English. Other languages can be added; ask us on the setup call.
Your calls
Can I keep my business number?
Yes. Forward your number to the storm line, either every call or only the ones you don't pick up. Most Canadian carriers let you set that up from your phone. Or use a new local number from us. How forwarding works.
What happens when lots of people call at once?
It answers several calls at the same time, so clients aren't stuck listening to a ring or a full voicemail box while you're out.
What counts as urgent?
You decide, on the setup call. Common ones: a client who has to get to dialysis or a medical appointment, ice at the entrance of an open business, a blocked fire route. Those calls ring your cell.
What if I forget to update the storm plan?
Then the line gives no times at all. It tells callers the crew is out, takes their question and sends it to you. It never reads out an old plan.
Does it answer outside storms too?
Yes, every call, every day. Between storms it takes messages, new requests and quote questions the same way.
Your clients and texts
How do the "on our way" and "done" texts work?
Your clients are grouped by route in your account. When a crew heads out, you send "on our way" to that route in one go, and "done" when it is finished. Every text is saved with its time.
Whose number do the texts come from?
Your storm-line number, with your company name in every text.
Can clients text back?
Yes. Replies come into your account, and you can answer from your phone.
Is my client list private?
It is used only to answer your calls and send your texts. We don't sell it or share it. See the privacy policy.
Setup and price
How long does setup take?
Usually a day or two after a 15-minute call. We build it, then you call it yourself and hear it answer as your company before your clients ever do.
What does it cost?
C$199 a month plus tax, with 300 call minutes and up to 1,000 texts. Extra minutes are C$0.45. There's no setup fee and no contract: it's month to month. See pricing.
Is there a contract?
No. It is month to month, and you can cancel any time.
What if I go over my minutes?
Extra minutes are C$0.45 each. You can see your minutes in the app.
How do I pay?
By card, monthly, in Canadian dollars. We send you the link when you sign up.
I'm a landscaper who plows in winter. Does it work in spring?
Yes. The same line can take quote requests and bookings for your landscaping season. We change its script when you switch.
Proof of service
Do you do photo proof of service?
Not yet. A route and proof app (a photo, GPS position and time stamp for every visit, salt used, per-push invoices) is what we would build next, if storm-line customers want it. See what we have in mind.
Get your line answering before the first snow sticks
In Toronto the first snow that stays usually lands in the second half of November. Fifteen minutes now saves a lot of missed calls later.
